2009 Cleveland.

At present working on a outside mural, The Festival of Butterflys and Flowers, at 3767 Community  College Ave,you can see it on PAINTINGS. It was started in 2008

Completed 18 years of photographing at CSU in and around the Black Studies Program.

Created People Places Things and Politics.com...a web site for photographs,by Mr. Rogers, and created ButterflyNewsService.com...a web site for news about the arts and all the silly stuff that is fit to print.

2005 East Cleveland.OH.
After two years of painting, completed a ten foot long oil painting  entitled, "Sister Twin Feathers''..

2002 Cleveland OH.
Designed and artistically produced “Melody of Cleveland,” as part of Guitar Mania, artist was sponsored by Forest City Enterprises. link

1998  New York, NY Presented gift of original artwork  “Many Faces…One Voice” to UNITED NATIONS on behalf of and from the city of Cleveland. (See drawings) Unity.

 Cleveland, OH. Mayor White declared artwork depicting slogan of “Many faces…One Voice” as official symbol of Unity Day.

 Commissioned to do a drawing for 75th Anniversary of the CLEVELAND COUNCIL ON WORLD AFFAIRS entitled “Always Remember…Your Education is Your Masterpiece” based on a poem authored by the artist.

 1997  Inducted into HALL OF FAME, LEGENDS AND LEGACIES FOR THE ARTS in the Glenville community.

 Executed a drawing depicting UNITY DAY slogan of “Many Faces…One Voice” for the city of Cleveland,(See drawings) Unity 

Founded African & Native American Museum of Contemporary Art (ANAMCA a traveling exhibit based in Cleveland).

1995   The Greater Cleveland Urban league begins exhibiting several pieces of artwork. 

1993  Painting entitled “your Success is Our Concern” was presented by the Cleveland MCAP Board of Directors as a donation to the National City Bank on behalf of the African American children of Cleveland.

Became photojournalist for the Crusader Arts, Entertainment & News and Call & Post Publications.  

 1990 Participated in the People’s Art Show at Cleveland State University. Art work entitled, “Goddess of Autumn” won an award for Most Beautiful.

1989  Participated in the People’s Art Show at Cleveland State University where two works “Sister Butterfly” and “Running Flower” received award for Most Beautiful and Most Poetic, respectively.

 1989  Nine murals and four paintings commissioned by the Ohio Arts Council for the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center. 

 1987  Washington, DC Guest Artist at the Margaret K. Amadon Elementary School. Assisted in building a float for the American Education Day parade which was awarded First Prize.

1986  Philadelphia, PA Exhibitions at Cobbs Creek Library and the Moorse Davis & Company Building.

 1985  Harlem, NY The Urban League selected various pieces of work for display in their local office.

 1984  Bronx, NY Exhibition on view at Genesis Medical P.C.

 Philadelphia, PA Executed the painting “Love and Imagination” at Temple University during a summer workshop.

1982  Brooklyn NY  Executed a oil painting for a cover of an album entiled THE LIVE BAND - A CHANCE FOR HOPE on The Sound Of Brooklyn (TSOB), label. 

1980  Bronx, NY Conducted an Art Workshop with Students at the Dr. Roland N. Patterson Junior High/Elementary School. The paintings completed at this workshop were sent to Atlanta, Georgia for viewing.

Atlanta, GA Conducted an Art Workshop for the children’s Day Program at the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Children from Harlem, New York Art Workshop visited for the showing of the paintings from the Bronx and Atlanta workshops. The Atlanta artwork is currently still on view at the Ebenezer Baptist Church.

 1976-7  Brooklyn, NY At Brooklyn Model Cities, a year long one-man art show exhibition and photographic study of African American people during the time of the Bicentennial in New York.

1976-1986  Harlem, NY Exhibition at the Harlem Urban Development Corporation in the Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. State Office Building.

Commissioned to paint a portrait of General Otto Van Excel, former Commander of the 369th Armory.

 Brooklyn, NY Wrote and directed the play “Agony for Recognition,” which was performed at the Billie Holiday Theater in the Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation. This play is a composition of Mr. Roger’s art, music and poetry.

 1974  New York, NY Xerox Corporation selected artwork for their office in Lake Success.

Commissioned to do the artwork for the LP album “Euphrates River” by the RCA recording group, The Main Ingredient.About one million copies of the album were sold.

1973 Harlem, NY Conducted an Art Workshop sponsored by the Riverside Church Neighborhood Youth Corps. and the IBM Corporation. The result of this project was a painting entitled, “The Virgin of the Rose.” Which is currently on display at the Riverside Church.

 1972  West Point, NY Held a one-man exhibition given at the United States Military Academy at West Point. 

1971  Knoxville, TN Educational Training and Adaptations, Inc., sponsored a show where the major painting was entitled, “Autumn Love.” This work is currently on view at the Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Harlem, NY Donated the oil painting entitled, “Forest Flower” to the Schomberg Library.

 Executed one of the major works of his career “La Rose D’ Anges” in the lobby of the Martin Luther King Pavilion of Harlem Hospital as part of an art education program for the community.

1970  Harlem, NY Donated the painting entitled, “Felicita” to UNICEF on behalf of the children of Harlem. This artwork was designated the official painting for the United Nations’ 25th Anniversary celebration and received worldwide acclaim. This painting was also selected for the cover of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Magazine. The Secretariat News, and the frontispiece for the 25th Anniversary Catalogue of International Art.

 1969  Harlem, NY Exhibition at the National Council of Churches Interfaith Center Gallery, titled Harambe 1.
